It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building, and is a redundant church in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. The church was declared redundant on 28 July 1972, and was vested in the Trust on 13 November 1973. The church, which is 〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.stocklinch.org.uk/Churches.htm#MaryMagdalene )〕 is built of local Ham stone with a Welsh slate roof.〔 The interior includes Victorian stained glass, and a 13th-century effigy of a woman on the sill of the south window. The font is Norman.〔 In the porch is a Daisy Wheel mark which is believed to be a protection against ill-fortune and are common in England and Wales.
